Improve your dancing—while you’re not dancing.

Most dancers focus on what happens in class. This workshop focuses on everything else.

Using principles from the Alexander Technique, this class explores how your everyday habits—how you walk, sit, sleep, move, and carry yourself throughout the day—directly affect your dancing. The goal is to improve coordination, reduce unnecessary tension, and build more efficient movement patterns that carry into the studio.

Instead of adding more effort, you’ll learn how to remove interference. By refining how you use your body during the other 22–23 hours of your day, you can accelerate progress, improve comfort, and move with greater ease when you dance.

This workshop is designed for dancers who want to deepen body awareness, improve posture and movement quality, and make lasting changes that extend beyond class time.
