In this Intermediate/Advanced workshop at ATOMIC Ballroom, Nick & Kate will help you sharpen the parts of your dancing that make Balboa feel smoother, smarter, more musical, and more satisfying to dance. You’ll work on moving with the music more clearly, using your body more intentionally, and taking classic Balboa ideas into fresher, more interesting territory. Along the way, Nick & Kate will share the kinds of insights and feedback that can completely change how a move feels, giving you plenty of new ideas to experiment with the next time you hit the social floor. Prerequisite:
Understanding and proficiency with basic forms are expected. (Movements like Basics, ad lib steps, Lolly Kicks, Out & In, and Throwouts). This level is intended to help you push into more challenging territory and tackle more advanced concepts.
