Spend three focused hours building stronger, cleaner, and more confident Tandem Charleston with Megan & James at ATOMIC Ballroom in Irvine. This Intermediate swing dance workshop will dig into the footwork, rhythm, partner connection, and timing that make Tandem Charleston feel smooth and exciting while giving you more options to use in your Lindy Hop and social dancing.

You’ll work on synchronized Charleston movement, clearer partnering, transitions in and out of Tandem, rhythmic variations, and ways to stay connected while moving together at different tempos. With the extra time of a three-hour workshop, Megan & James can go beyond individual patterns and help you understand how the movement works so you can use Tandem Charleston more naturally and confidently on the social dance floor.

This workshop is designed for dancers who are already comfortable with Charleston fundamentals and partnered Charleston and are ready to expand their vocabulary, sharpen their technique, and spend dedicated time improving their Tandem Charleston.

Prerequisite

Students should already be comfortable with basic Charleston rhythm, side-by-side Charleston, partnered Charleston, and Lindy Hop fundamentals.
