Train, Rehearse, Perform & Grow with the ATOMIC Swing Team

The ATOMIC Swing Team is for swing dancers who want to put more focused time into their dancing, learn and rehearse team choreography, sharpen their performance skills, and train alongside other dancers who are ready to work together. Led by Coach Matt Richey, the team gives dancers a consistent place to rehearse, build stronger movement and musicality, and become more confident performing swing dance routines as a group.

Being part of the ATOMIC Swing Team goes beyond the weekly rehearsal. Team members also receive special rehearsal benefits at ATOMIC Ballroom, making it easier to put in extra practice time, work through choreography together, and keep improving between official team rehearsals.

Weekly Swing Team Rehearsals

ATOMIC Swing Team members receive a weekly 1.5-hour team rehearsal with Coach Matt Richey. Rehearsals are focused on team choreography, performance technique, cleaning routines, musicality, timing, and learning how to dance together as a strong, connected group.

Your monthly team dues include:

• Weekly 1.5-hour rehearsals
• Coach Matt’s fee
• Shared floor rentals for eligible team practices
• Discounted full room rentals for team rehearsals

Team Dues

$99 per month on autopay

Team dues cover the ongoing training and rehearsal benefits of being part of the ATOMIC Swing Team.

There is no additional discount for ATOMIC VIP Members.

Free Shared Floor Rentals for Team Practice

ATOMIC Swing Team members may book FREE Shared Floor Rentals outside of Prime Time when practicing official team routines.

This gives team members more opportunities to meet up, review choreography, clean sections of a routine, and get extra repetitions in outside of regular rehearsals.

Please note:

• Free Shared Floor Rentals are for rehearsing ATOMIC Swing Team routines
• Rentals must take place outside of Prime Time
• Regular Prime Time rules and payment requirements still apply
• This benefit applies to Shared Floor Rentals only and does not include Full Room Rentals

Need more space for a team rehearsal? ATOMIC Swing Team members also receive 50% off Full Room Rentals for eligible team practice.

Full Room Rentals:

• Are 50% off for ATOMIC Swing Team members
• Cannot be booked during Prime Time
• Must follow ATOMIC Ballroom’s regular room rental policies and availability

Who Is the ATOMIC Swing Team For?

The ATOMIC Swing Team is a great fit for dancers who want to take their swing dancing beyond weekly classes and put more focused time into choreography, performance, teamwork, and consistent training. If you enjoy Lindy Hop and other swing dances, want to challenge yourself, and like the idea of learning and performing routines with a team, this is a chance to dig deeper into your dancing.

Team training is designed to help dancers develop stronger technique, cleaner movement, better timing, more confidence, and the ability to perform as part of a group.
