We’re now casting for California Dreamin’: Atomic Ballroom Summer Student Showcase!

This summer, we’re bringing coastal vibes + Hollywood sparkle to the stage—and giving students more ways than ever to shine. Whether you want to jump into a choreographed group routine or step into the spotlight with a solo/duo feature, this showcase is a fun, supportive way to celebrate your progress, share the joy of dance, and perform for an audience of friends, family, and your Atomic community.

You’ll have the option to work with multiple Atomic instructors and take Private Lessons to help you feel confident and stage-ready. We’re also focused on capturing beautiful video keepsakes of every performance—something you can share, celebrate, and cherish long after the show.

Spotlights (Solo/Duo/Small Group Features)

  • 90-second choreographed or improvised numbers
  • Performance Fee: $200 total per Spotlight
  • Deposit: $100 (applies toward your $200 total)
  • Spotlight choreography + rehearsals are booked as Private Lessons

  • $100 deposit reserves your Spotlight song
  • All performance fees are due by June 1st

*Performance Fees include: Dress Rehearsal, Teacher Performance Fee, Catering, Decorations, Staff Assistance, Photography, Videography, and Dress Rehearsal Space.

Showcase Group Routines

This year, group routines will be structured as

12 weekly 45-minute lessons starting in March or 6-Week Intensive Courses starting in May:

  • 12 weekly 45-minute lessons starting the week of March 23rd
    • 45-minute sessions each week
    • Plus a dress rehearsal dedicated to your group on June 14th
  • 6-Week Intensive Courses starting the week of May 4th
    • 90-minute sessions each week
    • Plus a dress rehearsal dedicated to your group on June 14th

Group Routine Rehearsals:

  • $240 total or 12 regular group class credits
  • VIP Members: 50% off ($120)

Performance Fee: $100 total per performer per group

*Performance Fees include: dress rehearsal, teacher performance fee, catering, decorations, staff assistance, photography/videography, and rehearsal space.
