Step into the glamour of vintage burlesque with our Burlesque Fan Dance Intensive, led by ATOMIC Ballroom co-owner and celebrated burlesque performer Nikki “Moxie Gold” Klaus-Pedroza. Inspired by icons of the 1930s such as Faith Bacon, Sally Rand, and Noel Toy, fan dancing is a dazzling art form that combines elegance, allure, and theatricality.
In this immersive afternoon, you’ll learn not only how to handle feather fans with grace, but also how to transform them into a breathtaking extension of your movement. From striking poses to flowing transitions, you’ll explore how fans can amplify your stage presence and elevate your performance with timeless sophistication. Bring your own feather fans if you have them—we’ll have a limited number available for rental, but they will go quickly.
This intensive is designed for all levels: beginners ready to dip into the glamour of burlesque and seasoned dancers looking to refine their artistry. Leave feeling confident, empowered, and with the skills to build your own fan dance act.
