10:00a • Belly Dancing 1 • Bellydance is a Middle Eastern dance style dance that incorporates movements with isolation of the chest, hips, and stomach. No partners are needed! All levels are welcomed to this belly dance class! In this course, you will learn the foundational moves of belly dance such as shimmies, hip drops/lifts, chest circles, etc.
10:45a • Belly Dancing 2 • This course will build on the foundational moves and teach students how to integrate them into combos, choreographies, and improvisation.
Prerequisite: Students with fundamental knowledge of the basic moves such as hip hits, hip lifts/drops, hip circles, chest circles, shimmy, omis, snake arms, undulations, figure 8s, and weight shifts are highly encouraged to participate in this course.
