Get ready for a spooky-good night of live swing music, swing dancing, costumes, and Halloween fun at ATOMIC Ballroom. On Friday, October 30, Nat's Spooky Tiger Five are bringing the rhythm, the charm, and plenty of spooky swing energy to the floor for a Live Swing Music Friday packed with dancing all night long.

Come dressed for the season, grab your dance shoes, and get ready for vintage-inspired jazz played live for swing dancers. Between sets, we’ll keep the Halloween fun going with our Costume Contest and All Monsters Mix & Match, so come ready to dance and show off your costume.

Live Band Night Details:

  • Intro to Swing Class – 7:45 PM

  • Nat's Spooky Tiger Five – Live Swing Music starts at 9:00 PM

Come dressed to impress because during the first band break, we’re clearing the floor for our Halloween Costume Contest! Show off your costume and cheer on your fellow dancers as we choose winners in three categories:

  •  Best Costume
  •  Best Couple
  •  Best Group

Bring the creativity, commit to the look, and give everyone something to cheer about.

All Monsters Mix & Match

During the second band break, it’s time for the All Monsters Mix & Match. Come in costume, jump in, and show us what your monster can do on the dance floor. Dancers will be randomly partnered and judged on how well they social swing dance together in the moment, with no choreography and no prepared partner, just connection, musicality, creativity, and your ability to make the dance work with whoever you get. If you love social swing dancing, Halloween, and a little friendly competition, this is your chance to get in the mix, so sign up and get ready to bring it.

Start the night with our Intro to Swing Dancing class at 7:45 PM. This fun and friendly class is perfect for anyone who wants to try swing dancing, learn the basics, and feel more comfortable stepping onto the floor.

No partner or experience is required. After class, stick around and put those new moves to use with live swing music and swing dancing all night.
