While many are cozily curled up on a couch indulging in holiday decadence and packing on pounds, you could be dancing off those excess holiday calories amongst some of the friendliest dancers around!

There’s no better time to unthaw from the winter chill and get moving than right now. ATOMIC is open seven days a week – even on Christmas Day. Offering a full calendar of group classes of varying levels, from beginning, to intermediate and advanced. Dance styles offered range from Argentine tango to tap, bachata, foxtrot, lindy hop, waltz, swing, ballroom, salsa, West Coast swing, and even styles like belly dance and K-pop.

Each night the classes are followed by a dance social, featuring a different dance style every night. Some patrons don’t realize that there are additional rooms located adjacent to the main dance floor, as well as upstairs. These additional spaces typically host a dance social of a different genre that occurs simultaneously as the social in the main room. So fore example, even if you come to dance Lindy on a Friday night in the main room, you also have the option to join the blues social upstairs in the fusion room, or an Argentine tango practice in the room adjacent to the main ballroom floor.

There are also special workshops offered weekly and taught by some of the top instructors around. Workshops vary from standard ballroom classes to special styles such as burlesque and beyond.

For those in town during the holidays, there are special events such as a very special swinging social on Christmas night. As well as a full roster of classes and evening socials throughout the rest of the week.
