As most of the country recovers from a week of less work, less movement and excessive indulgence, there is no better place to get back in balance and work off all those calories than at Atomic Ballroom this Saturday, December 6th for the bi-annual Open House.

If either you or someone in your life (co-worker, friend, family member, neighbor) has thought about taking up dance classes but just never got around to it, now is the time. If your significant other has ever felt left out whenever you’ve gone dancing without them or you felt bad leaving them behind, this is the perfect time to finally bring him or her; if you or someone you know believe that you have two left feet, then you can’t afford to miss this! Or even if you’ve been dancing for a while and already know a few styles, this is a great time to try a different style or two, and is the event for you! In other words, this very special event is for everyone!

There will be participants of varying levels, including a large number of beginners – making for a very non-intimidating learning space. With quite an impressive list of dance classes currently on the schedule, many of them will be offered at Saturday’s open house. Ensuring that there is something for everyone, for 6 consecutive hours the following list of classes will be open to all with no partner required.

Free Group Classes

12:15 PM Rumba
1:00 PM Waltz
1:45 PM Lindy Hop
2:30 PM Hip Hop

If you’re unsure about a particular style, sampling from this buffet of dance is the perfect time to experiment. You literally get to try as many as you can handle in one afternoon, and all for free! There will also be free 20 minute private lessons available. However due to limited availability participants should call ahead to reserve their spot. Call (949) 250-3332 to make your reservation with the front desk today.

What to bring
Since there will be non-stop dancing for the duration of the event, be sure to come prepared with your dance shoes, or other comfortable footwear and attire. Although water, coffee and other beverages are always available, most dancers bring their own water bottles to avoid searching amongst the sea of paper cups. You may also bring along your appetite, as there will be plenty of tasty treats on hand.

This will be a fun day of learning new things while meeting new faces in a low pressure, festive environment. There will be holiday gift ideas including a variety of great packages and offers to choose from, such as a fantastic promotion for first time students. So there’s no better time to give yourself or someone else the gift of dance for the holidays! Take a break from the crowds and long lines at the stores and do a little holiday shopping at Atomic, where you can save time while experiencing a little holiday magic ballroom style!
