Last night’s DWTS said goodbye to Margaret Cho and her partner, Louis Van Amstel. Boo.
While I am sad to see Margaret go because of her potential as a dancer, I can’t disagree with America’s decision. Her samba failed to tell a story, the footwork was sloppy, and her over-the-top movements got in the way of the dance itself. I’m disappointed because I think she danced well last week and showed marked improvement. Margaret left with a great attitude, saying that she was proud that she could dance and that she made it this far and I couldn’t agree more.
What did surprise me was the Michael Bolton was back, this time doing what he does best in lieu of Susan Boyle (who bowed out due to a throat infection). This time Bruno was much happier, applauding the singer’s vocal talents that far superior to his dancing ability.
And really – if you haven’t seen The Situation dancing the foxtrot to the Blacked Eyed Peas…take a gander. Uh-oh…does this mean The Situation is growing on me?!?!?!? NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
I do recommend watching last night’s episode to check out the pro dancing, however – it was a lot of fun to watch and makes me want to give some dance styles other than swing a try.
