2011 is The 24 Hour Cancer Dance-a-thon's 6th Year!

Friday, September 10, 2010 was National Stand Up to Cancer Day.  In honor of all those who have been affected with cancer it is with great pleasure that I announce the next year’s date for the 24 Hour Cancer Dance-a-thon.  On November 19th-20th 2011 (from noon until noon) swing dances from all over SoCal will come to Irvine to dance to beat cancer.  The 24 Hour Cancer Dance-a-thon benefits the City of Hope, a terrific organization dedicated to providing excellent care for cancer patients and their families and are also leaders in cancer research.

Shesha and Nikki Marvin, owners of the ATOMIC Ballroom, founded this great event as a way to give back to the community, and each successive Dance-a-thon continues to grow by leaps and bounds.  Check back regularly to the 24 Hour Cancer Dance-a-thon website as we work to update it.  If you’ve registered and danced last year your old log-in will still work, so feel free to sign-in and register!

If you haven’t participated before, it will be the most rewarding 24 hours you’ve ever spent dancing, so sign up!
