As these final shopping days approach, while so many are out fighting through the crowds, be sure to swing by ATOMIC to take advantage of the
sweet deals with no hassle. Through Christmas Eve, class passes in the form of gift certificates are on sale. You can save $50 on the purchase of a 10 class pass, or even save up to $100 on a gift certificate for two private lessons!
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for all of the special events and festivities to close out the year. For those who enjoy giving as much a receiving, ATOMIC has teamed up with H.A.N.D.S. On International to hold a toy drive for homeless children in the area. The great news is that there is more than one way to lend a helping hand! Your contribution can be as small and simple as donating a new, unwrapped toy; making a monetary donation; or by donating your time to volunteer a few hours in the Long Beach toy store on 12/19 or 12/20. In addition to all of this, there will of course be plenty of dancing! Stop by the ballroom for a festive frolic every night beginning at 8:30 P.M., from December 19th through December 23rd. There aren’t many other places around where you can find this type of festive, fun, themed dance party every night!
Starting on Wednesday, December 17th (at 8:30 P.M.), come kick off a full week of holiday parties with ATOMIC’s Feliz Navidad Salsa party. Wear your ugly Christmas sweater and come salsa, tango and bachata the night away with Salsa Santa to live music from Daniel Larrea y La Guajira.
On Thursday, December 18th West Coast Swing enthusiasts will be wowed as the ballroom becomes a Westie Wonderland. With a special 1 hour workshop by Ben Morris and Jessica Cox, DJ music by Jessica Tingle and live music by Randall Miran, this will be a Winter Wonderland like no other!
Fridays are always fun as get into gear for the weekend. Come kick off the weekend on December 19th with a Lindy Christmas party and dance with Lindy Santa to the live sounds of Jonathan Stout and his Campus Five featuring Hilary Alexander. On Saturday, December 20th come dressed to impress as you take in the elegance of the Sugar Plum Ballroom. Treat yourself to a little indulgence with special hot hors d’oeuvres and Jack and Jill Cha Cha contest. Sunday, December 21st rings in the Merry Milonga, where you can Tango all night long and share a favorite delectable dish with your fellow dancers in our special potluck.
Start of the week with more festivities on Monday, December 22nd with the Ballroom Holiday Potluck party. Bring your favorite dish to share, as well as a gift under $10 for the gift exchange and win a chance for a special gift from ATOMIC! The Pre-Christmas parties commence with Tuesday’s Swingin’ Holiday Hop. Besides dancing along side Lindy Santa, you can also participate in the gingerbread house contest, with supplies provided by ATOMIC!
