Social & Competition Concepts for West Coast Swing

This workshop is designed for dancers Level 2 and up who strive to look and feel like a competitive dancer on the social dance floor. Samantha will guide you through a deep dive into concepts such as Connection, Teamwork, Turn Techniques, Pattern Comprehension and Recognition, and most importantly phrasing your dance to any song just like a seasoned competitor.
Prerequisites:
Sugar Push, Left Side Pass, Underarm Turn, Whip, Starter Step, The basic concepts of Outside Turns/Tuck Turns and Inside Turns. No partner needed!

- 2:30pm – Musical Comprehension and Phrasing
