FREE Beginner Salsa & Bachata Workshop
with Luis & Jess

Now is the best time to learn how to dance! Our FREE Salsa & Bachata workshop is designed to get you started on the right foot. Learn the basics and some fun moves, and meet new people who are also learning to dance. No partners or experience required!

Class Schedule

  • 12:00pm – Check-in/ Registration
  • 12:15pm – Salsa
  • 1:00pm – Bachata
  • 1:45pm – Mixed Shines
  • 2:30pm – Dance Party

Salsa Dancing:
Salsa music is composed of multiple genres such as West African, Mambo, Cha Cha Cha, Guaracha, Danzon, and Son Cubano, to name a few. It is now a worldwide dance with different styles known as LA Style aka On1, New York Style aka On2, Puerto Rican, or Colombian Style.

Bachata Dance:
Bachata is a Latin Dance that comes from a Caribbean country called The Dominican Republic. Like many Latin Dances, Bachata has deep African roots & influences. Today, you can find people dance around the world to its different styles such as Traditional, Urban or Sensual Bachata.
