"Lindy Hoppers" are a community of Swing Dancers who dance Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Charleston, Balboa, Shag, East Coast Swing, Drags, and Blues. These styles of swing dance are typically danced to vintage jazz, neo swing and big band music.

This weekly dance has taken many forms, starting in 2001 at Tia Juana's in Irvine. In 2007 it moved to the Woman's Club of Orange, and then to it's current home in 2011. Shesha Marvin, the owner of ATOMIC, teaches the classes and hosts the dance along with other fantastic instructors.
When ATOMIC opened in 2004 the OC Swing Dance Club and ATOMIC Ballroom joined forces to host this all inclusive, all ages, fun focused swing night in Irvine. The night is very welcoming for beginners and starts with a variety of dance lessons for all levels.
