//Atomic Ballroom Celebrates Halloween 2013

It’s that time of year again, Halloween – Time for pumpkin carving, creepy costumes, ghoulish dancing and Thrill the World zombies! Atomic Ballroom will be celebrating Halloween 2013 from this Friday (October 25th) all the way through Halloween night next Thursday (October 31st). So pull out those costumes, grab a treat and leave your tricks on the dance floor…

Halloween Dances at Atomic Ballroom

No matter which style of dance you enjoy, Atomic has a Halloween party for you! Be sure to come in your best costumes – Each night we will have a costume contest to determine Best Costume, Most Original Costume and Best Group Ensemble.

In addition to dances and contests, each night we will be featuring our favorite zombie dance – Thriller – so all of our students and guests can take part in this new Atomic tradition. If you want to learn the Thriller choreography, we will be offering drop-in group classes Wednesdays and Saturday before Halloween. Come down and brush-up on your Michael Jackson shimmies and nods, then join the Atomic dancers as they perform during social dances.

Night of the Living Lindy Hop – Friday, October 25th ($10)

Dancing with the Ghouls Ballroom – Saturday, October 26th ($10)

Tango Invasion Masquerade – Sunday, October 27th ($10)

Swing Spooktacular – Tuesday, October 29th ($8)

Salsalloween (Live Music!) – Wednesday, October 30th ($13)

When she moved to Orange County in 2000, she discovered a whole new world of Balboa and Lindyhop - and she's been obsessed ever since! When she's not hitchhiking to dance events across the country, she's probably got her nose in a book...And when she's not dancing, she's probably talking about dancing or watching dancing and being a typical dance-geek.
