Fitness Classes

Fitness Dance Classes are a great way to have fun while getting in shape. Just about all dancing helps you stay healthy but fitness classes will really focus on taking it to the next level.

Beginning
Level 1 Jitterblast
Created by World Lindy Hop Champion and fitness trainer Nick Williams, JitterBlast is a new dance fitness program that uses the high-energy swing dances (Lindy Hop, Charleston, Jazz and others) to burn calories and tone muscle. While you're busy learning how to dance and loosing yourself in the great music, the athletic movement and momentum provide a top-notch interval workout. JitterBlast requires no partner and is designed for the complete beginner to advanced dancer, and for people of all fitness levels. Wear your workout clothes and bring a towel and water. Prepare to sweat! Level 1: For those new to JitterBlast, those who have no dance experience, and/or those who are new to fitness.

Jazzercise

The Jazzercise workout program combines jazz dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga and kickboxing movements into one 60-minute total body workout.  Each workout blends dance aerobics with muscle toning and stretching movements, all choreographed to today's hottest music, including Top 40, jazz, country, funk, rock and hip hop. Our instructors make all the routines fun and easy-to-follow. Every class includes a gentle warm-up, 30-minute cardio section, strength segment with weights and a stretch finale. Whether you are new to the Jazzercise exercise program and need some help learning the basics or a long-time participant looking for technique tips, you've come to the right place!

All of our movements have been reviewed by an exercise physiologist for safety and effectiveness!

Power Yoga

Unroll your mat for an invigorating full-body flow where you’ll explore the postures and fundamental principles of Vinyasa yoga. Set to inspiring tunes, this foundation-building class will work every muscle through movement and breath at a moderate, but intuitive pace. Boost metabolism and build lean muscle mass as you move to upbeat tracks. Option to bring 1-8 pound weights to intensify each pose while mixing in strength-training moves like squats, lunges and bicep curls.

Stretching for Dancers
Whether you are a social or a completive dancer, our stretching class is a great way to release muscle tension and to increase flexibility. As a bonus...you'll feel great!

Wellness Fit Camp

Lifestyle Fitness presents Wellness Fit Camp! Join us for our Wellness Fit Camp with Kiola Raines where her goal is to get you stronger, feel better and have more energy all while losing weight! Wellness Fit Camp runs 3 days a week, for 4 weeks. Each week includes a nutrition discussion with tips and tools to help you stay healthy and fit!

In the fitness camp we will be working on:

-Strengthening your core

-Increasing your endurance

-and being the STRONGEST person you can be!

What to bring:

-Exercise Mat

-Resistance Band or Free Weights

-Water

Find balance in your dancer life with strength, flexibility, and overall wellbeing. This class is focused on developing clear and safe alignment in foundational poses. Come to learn, play, and maybe even break a sweat in a supportive environment. You don’t need to be able to touch your toes; you just have to be willing to try.
